Jay another trick i can show to my children.I usualy do your card tricks when we as a famaly braai.I never show them how it is done because then it is not a trick anymore. You must see there faces when the trick is done.A BIG thank you.If you get the time to read my commend i would love you to respond.I will be on then be on the lookout for your videos.❤
Contest #10 was supposed to be last week, however the mini card spitting contest turned out to be bigger than I expected. I needed a break. Contest #10 will be Thursday Oct. 15th.
Great trick, already performing it regularly where I work! Thanks to the Galbreath principle, you can split the deck into two roughly equal piles and have the spectators tell you if the pairs should come from one pile or the other or one from each (with a nod to Max Maven's Zenvelopes).
I'm a beginner when it comes to card tricks, but the difference between red and black card numbers made me think the deck was stacked right away. If you get slightly tipsy crowd somewhere this could work great though! You have alot of awesome tricks, thanks for all the uploads.
The correct title of this card trick is "Miraskill" created by Stewart James. This card trick is at least 60 years old. It's so old that it is "new" to you youtubers. But it goes to show you that good card tricks never get old.
You can leave the Jokers in the pack as well (with the 4 black cards on top). That way, when you take it out for the second turn you can act like the cards in the box were the Jokers and drop them.
cool .... will try it ;) do you have a tutorial for these tricks where one card is marked with a pen ....think some ppl call it "stranger card" ? thx and cheers
The second trick works because for the same reason as the first. For every black card you discard, you also discard a red card. Therefore, there will be the same amount of red pairs and black pairs.
@brutalledgend hide as many as you want, but you need to change the prediction for it. This is a good trick because people would normally realise "well of course, there are an even amount of cards". the first is to throw them off.
What if someone wants to see the box before you do the trick because they might find it suspicious if you just come up to them with the cards already out of the deck.
you can setup like this: You can also prepare 1 red pair on the bottom and 1 black on the top. Then take the box and tell the spectator that there are many suits many values bla bla bla and ask the spectator to name black or red, but in a way that its not suspicious. If the spectator says red, take the cards out except of the red pair. It's a bit tricky but practice that ;-) Greetz from Switzerland
Thumbs up to you mismag822! ive watched all of your videos as you upload them, and i am amazed at how well, and how easily you perform card tricks (my fav. type of tricks) keep it up ▲_▲
Could you put 2 black cards in the box and say there will be 2 more red cards? When I saw this I said, "it's self working!" and the second time it was different so I had no clue how it worked until you said you put some into the box.
Nah, it does actually work. Consider a worst case scenario, and all the red and black cards in the deck that CAN be alternated are. In the first one you'd have 0 black cards and 4 red cards (prediction was 4 MORE red cards, so it's not wrong). The second one you'd discard every card, so there would be 0 red cards and 0 black cards (prediction: piles will be equal). None in both piles is still equal. The trick always works, though THAT outcome would be lame. =3
When you perform the trick the first time the spectator has no idea what you are predicting. So when the piles are different it is a cool effect.
that´s the greatest Math trick i´ve ever seen. I didn´t even think about that the biles MUST be even :) Really amasing

Hi, how r u?
I have wanted to find a good card trick for ages. THANK YOU. That is indeed clever and entertaining, I'll return to your channel in future! =D
I like it. I was looking for a trick that is both self working and where a free shuffle can take place. This fulfills both check boxes.
finally something i can do with my cool looking cards that i've had for years. they're transparent. thanks for posting
When You Say Red and Black its like"Men in Black" Awesome Trick By The Way
I appreciate the compliment. Thanks
Great trick, already performing it regularly where I work!

I think this trick is called Miraskil by Stewart Judah from the Jinx magazine
circa 1955
cool .... will try it ;) do you have a tutorial for these tricks where one card is marked with a pen ....think some ppl call it "stranger card" ?
thx and cheers

WOW this actually works thanks for posting this video :))
I love when youtubers say in their videos, "There's a link right here." but there's no link at all.
at the first part of the trick I was like the piles should have been even... lol still good, people will be too amazed to give it a second thought
The second trick works because for the same reason as the first. For every black card you discard, you also discard a red card. Therefore, there will be the same amount of red pairs and black pairs.
This is a trick based off the miraskill principle in expert card technique. There is a great John Bannon adaptation called view to skill I believe.
i love ur magic!!! and i think u would be a good dealer

Your channel is superb
Could you put 2 black cards in the box and say there will be 2 more red cards?

Well done mismag822.
Does anyone know when the next contest will be?
some tricks well on one person but not on another, i think this trick will do nicely for the people i'll show it to
@MagicAddict11 Did you put the four black in the box?
i figured it out before the tutorial started =)
Nah, it does actually work.

=3
It may seen obvious to you, but it will fool MOST people.
you are a great magician
my cards arent blue on the back, will this trick still work for me? Or should i go get some blue ones?
so cool as usual.
